Wuyi Oolong tea is one of the six major teas in China. Wuyi Oolong tea is grown and produced on Wuyi Mountain, in the northern part of Fujian province in southeast China. This area is famous for it’s beautiful scenery and the tea plants that grow in the rock seams of the mountains. This tea has the fragrance of green tea, the sweet and mellow taste of black tea, and is the highest grade of the Chinese Oolong teas. Wuyi Oolong is a semi-fermented and takes 6 months to bake with wood charcoal. Wuyi Oolong tea is also known as Da Hong Pao.
